brandihill > Thabo holds the "game ball"
brandihill > A goal is MADE!
brandihill > On special occasions, like this Christmas day, we eat CHICKEN!! Organic, chemical-free chicken :)
brandihill > This is a ball. Made from tightly bounded plastic bags.
brandihill > The kids make kites from garbage and plastic bags.
brandihill > Giving all the ladies manicures
brandihill > The well where water is fetched...when the communial taps are not working- which is often, this is what is used.
brandihill > Coloring by candlelight.
brandihill > The kids do the dishes in Sand Sloot EVERY NIGHT....hhhmmm ...:)
brandihill > I introduce kool-aid - they introduce dipping bread and butter IN kool-aid.
brandihill > Soccer is an unexplainable obsession with every boy in the village. THEY ARE ADDICTED! This is one of the few kids I saw with an actual ball. Most play with tighty bounded plastic grocery bags.
brandihill > Breakfast, lunch and often times dinner....poridge.
brandihill > This is a game like dodge ball- BUT the player must also build a tower of tin cans while dodging the ball. NOTICE: the ball is made from tightly bounded plastic grocery bags. Innovation is these kid's middle names. Nothing stings like a plastic-bag- ball!
brandihill > When bored: do handstands.....which results in 24- hours of headstands....:)
